You certainly can. I did both the front and back lights on my 2001 TD5. The new front lights are deeper so you have to remove the steel plates that act as supports behind the old lights to get the required extra depth. Otherwise just some alterations to the wiring. The new lights fit exactly around the wings etc so there are no external modifications to do.
I did a 'how to' guide for this at the time (it was on disco2.com before the site closed!) Let me know if you need more info.
Hi Mantamed,
Cheers for the reply. any tips and guides will be very much appreciated. i do have one or two questions.
1- how much does it cost?
2- what parts do i need and where can i get them from for a reasonable price?
this should be an interesting project as i have never attempted to do this type of work before.
regards
Ady
You used to be able to get the parts from ebay, not sure if they are still readily available, otherwise a main dealer will have them (at a price )
PM me your email address and I will send you the info I have.
