Hi all, just drained the gearbox oil from my 2003 Defender Td5, on removing the drain plug I was presented with this sight. Is this a normal ammount of metal particles or is my gearbox destroying itself?

No that's fine. Most I've taken out look like that.
Obviously will be worse if it's been longer.
Mine was a darn sight worse than that.
