Hi all

just calmed down after a seriously frustrating Sunday.
got an 03 with the dreaded leaky fuel pipe, traced it back, read all the posts and if its not the green fuel pipe then i'll eat my hat !
so I purchased a nice new green pipe, wrestled with the tow bar and took the tank out yesterday.
well, I guess I'd better find a good recipe for hats, it was the blue one, doh !
I've now got the whole lot on the way.
but can anyone tell me what the fuel line coming from the tank is ?
don't seem to be able to find any info on it.
is it a breather ? I ask as it seems to have a small kink in it, not enough to block the line, but enough for me to worry about it.
someone please put my mind at rest, or tell me to buy a new one, whatever it is ?

Hi Listerdeisel

I used this to mistakenly identify the HP feed leaking when it was the LP feed leaking.
but what I don't seem to find is any info on the three pipes to/from the tank.
they are small, medium and large.
large is the filler, medium is the overflow but what is the small one ? I think it's a breather but i'm not sure, it's the size of a fuel line and like I said, there is a small kink in mine, not enough to block it or leak, I just need to make sure before I fit the new lines.

As you look at the tank from the back of the Landy the pipe on the left connected to the tank away from the others is a breather.

thanks DJ, you've put my mind at rest.
I just had to make sure it didn't have fuel under pressure as it looks like a fuel line.

That's the one slight different location to mine but it's a Defender not a Disco.
