I’ve changed the cracked oil cooler for another one (thanks Shifty ), got it all back together put a hose pipe into the coolant reservoir and turned it on..

.
.
No leak from the oil cooler YIPPEEEEEEE

Then I hear the pouring water sound and look under the car to see it peeing out further back now

POOH!

Did some climbing and looking around but could only see that it is coming from the rear of the engine, I couldn’t say if it was from the block or from the head but could deffo see it was pouring out from the back but couldn’t see exactly where, it was getting dark so maybe next weekend I can get underneath it.

It was a decent flow, not a trickle. Anyone got any pics of a TD5 engine? The drivers side and the rear so I can point out where it was coming from?

And any ideas what it could be?

could be the heater hose or pipes, as the run behind the engine at the top and may be leaking down the back of the engine .

There is also a core plug in the back face of the engine block.
