Great forum and community... been helpful finding my way through new LR ownership!

I recently bought a TD5 G4 Edition on a 53 plate. After 3 or 4 days I realised that the passenger side central locking mechanism would lock with the remote but not unlock either from the remote or the drivers door key.

Also the car is fitted with front and rear electric sunroof. Neither operate at all, although there is a relay clicking when the switch is used - I'm guessing the sunroof ECU is gone, but don't know if that's common or not.

Any ideas or common faults known for either of these??

The sunroof may be jammed. They are fairly easy to remove and dismantle and clean but it is a time consuming process. Allow half a day and you will need some torx bits to remove the sunroof mechanism from the vehicle.

When I got my TD5 I thought my central locking was playing up as the plip wouldn't open the passanger door. I read the manual and realised that only the drivers door opens with one plip press. You have to depress the plip a 2nd time to release the rest of the doors inc the tail gate.
