Bless my little hippos cotton socks, I have just spent weeks trying to cure her of a starting problem which after all turned out to be injectors, Now she has decided to give me another brain scratcher.

When driving on motorway and you accelarate over 60mph she bellows out black smoke and the engine warning light comes on, she also seems low on power.
Is this the MAF sensor playing up ?? anyone help!! before the blue touch paper gets a match this time......

check the hoses from your turbo, sounds like they might have a split or be collapsing

SAme thing happened to me in my Dizzylander the Air intake vavle was split at the Back where you could not see from the front. The original Landy part has metal Coils in the Hose where it Split. May i Suggest to replace it with a Silicon one. ususally about £22 and easy to replace yourself just by undoing 2 jubille clips. Had no problems with it since.
