I recently purchased a clutch master cylinder from an internet based scrap yard who told me it came from a 2000mile TD4 so should be a good one. Anyway I recieved it today but he hasn't included the pipe work with it. The pipes just been cut-off
mad: ) below the master cylinder outlet, so I was wondering how easy it is to change the pipe, as the new ones i've seen all come with the pipes already. Also the fluid has leaked out where its been cut so I guess I will have to put new fluid in and bleed the system somehow.
The main problem is how do I change the pipe on the master cylinder end. I tried removing the split pin and pulling the pipe out but it doesn't seem to budge. It does however rotate in its fitting, so I guess it must come out somehow.
Any advice would be really grateful!
