Have 98 disco 300tdi, with tamper proof fuel stop solenoid.

I need to crack the crankshaft nut off, was going to use the bar under the chassis method, but have a tamper proof fuel stop solenoid, is there another way to cut fuel supply so engine wont start when cranked on the starter??

does it not have a fuse somewhere ?

it should have fuse for it probably in the black box next to the battery, failing that under the dash on the drivers side. Pull that out and it should disable the fuel stop. might come under the electronic fuel pump control. but i'm just guessing as mine doesn't have that system. Hopefully somebody else more in the know will advise you better

Fuse number 7 in the engine bay fuse box, that is if a fuel stop solenoid is part of the EDC I cant see a specific fuse for fuel stop solenoid in my wiring diagrams.
