I'm taking my lovely RR of the road for a few months or until i get a job lol. Are there anythings i should do to keep her in tip top condition whilst she is layed up?

At the very least keep the battery up and start it and go through the gears once a week or so ,and if you can roll it up and down the drive and give the brakes a press or two to keep the calipers from getting sticky.
they do not like being ignored

Maybe an optimate trickle charger to keep the battery charged ?

I agree
An optimate is a good idea,
Most motorcycle dealers sell them as most motorbike riders also store there bikes during he winter months.( or try EBay!)
Try to drain as much fuel as possible!
Change the oil before storage, and after storage.
" Do not leave the handbrake on"
And once a weak fire her up for 10 to 15 mins

Cheers guys, i'll invest in a trickle charger and sort out the oil etc. Oh and will deffo leave the brakes off just chock the wheels.

If it is going to be stationary for a long time, it is worth putting it on axle stands to prevent the wheels squaring off and if it is in sunlight, consider wrapping the tyres so they don't harden and crack.

Or for the best possible results, get it in the living room where it's nice and dry and cozy,you'll be glad you did.

True, I did 10 hours of solid driving in my P38 and I've never been more comfortable. Stick a 50" TV on the bonnet and it'd be the best seat in the house.

It will be keep in a mates unit so undercover and very secure, but may think of putting it on axel stands.

Hippo, she will never get sold just another car for my collection plus i can do a few jobs whilst she is off the road.

Have new gearbox oil cooler to fit, heated seats to fix, running boards to replace, ht leads, full service, brakes to bleed, etc etc

My biggest worry was the battery but already ordered my trickle charger so will have that connected all the time
