I like your style

My land rover is Red...but it seems the more sun it has, the more pink it gets. Oh dear!

When it's completely pink, you'll have to change your name from RustyRhinos to Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

And when the black colour of my Landy fades to almost white I'll change his name from Leroy to Michael Jackson

There is a little know defense system operated by NATO, it is very similar to the "Star wars " project instigated by Ronald Reagan when he was US president. It allows tracking systems to keep a track on all military vehicles and equipment, and if they breach international borders take action.
You might be alright, but equally you may be hit by a drone as you get off the ferry. The worse that can happen, is that as you go through france, you may be blinded by the white flags waving.

Is that the IFF (identify friend or foe) system? not sure it applies to rovers though.

they did use Infrared paint to which helped IFF. This paint is common on ex-mil rovers.
