Hello,

Does anyone know if having a missing tail gate, on a pick up, is an MOT failure?

I don't have one right now and am holding out for a cheap one to come along on eBay.

If i do need one, is there anything i can do instead? Bar across the gap or something similar?

Will pass,

But be an advisory like the one I have for a child seat being fitted so they wouldn't check the seatbelts before I bought the vehicle
