Can someone plz help as my tailgate on my discovery1 200tdi won't open unless I climb in and open from inside. Has anyone had this problem and found an easy solution?

the cause however, may be the thing that gives you the grief
it can be a small spring that has broken or lack of lube in the rod mechanism,
buy it as a common fault and a pain, get it fixed before it gets to the stage where you can't open the door at all
