I replaced the battery on my Land Rover Freelander and now the tailgate window won''t stay up. When it reaches the top an alarm sounds and the window goes staight back down again.
I have tried disconnecting the battery again and leaving the key in the tailgate, as some one suggested this, but that didn't work. When I lock the car using the key fob button, I can then use the key in the rear door to raise the window so it's secure then and stays shut. But as soon as I unlock the car the window comes straight back down again.Any advice? I really don't want to take it to a main dealer!
