hiya guys

have got the older style synergy 2a box, a bosch may and a 3 way toggle switch fitted

am going to send my synergy back for the upgrade as i have to turn my engine off to change settings

noticed u can buy an updated switch where u can use a latching oem switch in replacement of the toggle switch

was going to get the switch set up so OUT is eco and IN is power

was just wondering has anyone bought this type of switching plse and may i ask which oem switch did u get in order the new synergy box lead fits onto it plse

been looking at the carling switches and trying to see if these may work.

going to install into my switch panel to keep it neat and tidy

ive not got any trouble from my bosch maf, but see may people recommend to drop a pierburgh in at the same time to i prove mpg

thats good to know

ive seen on rover rons web site the round chrome switch and the toggle one,

but then noticed he sells the lead minus the switch and then using an oem land rover switch that u put the wires onto it from the synergy box lead

as im going to be wiring in spots fogs etc wish to run all wires etc all in one go, so i only have to strip out panels once

lolol, ive spent at least 6 months collecting bits a need to fit

got a new front carpet
roof rack complete
spots
fogs
tow bar rear
tow bar front
fit cb

once the warmer weather comes i can sit down with my son, as he will be doing it for me due to being disabled now and just trying to keep all my options open and get as many ideas as possible

once then all the panels, front carpet is all out can then fingers crossed get everything fitted in one go

but imagine it will be organised chaos as usual, , Laurie and hardy eat ur heart out

I've a cb and a lift kit to fit yet my list lsnt quite as bad as yours !!

Hi Gary......When I bought my Synergy (Second hand), it came with the three position switch and Pierburg. I couldn't see myself using the toggle switch so decided to get the lead only from Ron and fit a pushbutton chosen by me. I ordered the cable for "Eco" with the button "Out" (switch off) & "Power" with the switch button "In" (Switch on & lit). This is the switch I bought Angel Eye Black Metal LED Vandal Proof Latching Push Button Switch Car 12V | eBay
I fitted the switch in the square switch blank on the dash, to the right of the steering column. The switch is inobtrusive and neat plus, the led light ring is not mega bright.
I find at setting 7 in Eco mode, there is not that much difference in fuel consumption but the engine is far more responsive.
