Can anybody please tell me how to sync a p38 gems Ecuador to the better with a nano com it's saying function locked cheers in advance trying help out another forum member

I have helped this fella out before bout 18 months ago his is a 4.0 gems mines a4.6 Thor but all I did then was his eas

Eas, abs and most others will work, just not the engine/BECM stuff. For that you'll need the gems license.
I think it's only about 50 notes for the extra license and if you're helping him out he should be happy to pay it.

Think you just use the security learn module on the GEMS. Cannot remember off the top of my head where it is. Maybe under the BECM module?

With a bit of luck he may be able to find someone with a nanocom with gems module on it I know biketeacherdave tried to help him out as well

Seems a no brainer for him to pay you the £50 to unlock the GEMS module on yours
