Front of the switch just pops off, but you don't need to take it out to remove the lamps. They are tiny 1/4 turn things which are installed in the RHS of the switch body as you are looking at it from the front.

I must have cocked something up. Nighttime illumination isn't working and neither is the tell-tale, although the switch and relay works fine. Swear I spliced in the same colours to each other.

Going to have to take the whole lot apart again.
