Hi all

I am about to purchase a swing away spare wheel carrier for my 90 tuck cab but whos is the best?

I am looking at the paddocks swing and lock one

any thoughts, bare in mind i have no rear door to attach it to so it will need to lock by its self when closed and open..

Aye the paddocks one is fine. But if yer get offered one by a bearded & tatooed Jock, or a scouse exile living in Lancastershire. Don't be parting with yer dosh cos the fookers mine.

how strong is the catch and the hinges?? would it take a high lift jack mounted to it as well as a spare wheel???

probably, but the extra weight will shorten it's life I guess.

Ah got a paddocks one, but it's the one that opens and shuts with the door. A lot less hassle if ye've got folk in the back and saves ye havin' to get out every time to open the wheel carrier to get the door open
