Ok so at the moment I have a set of Greenway Macho tyres on RRC 3 spoke alloys.
I want to put them on the defender steelies I have that I then plan to fit onto my series 3...

The Greenway Macho tyres are just marked as "205 R16"
The existing tyres on the defender wheels are marked as "235/70 R16"

Anyone know if it'll fit, before I get some idiot apprentice telling me they won't fit cos theyre a different size

(Had this at kwik fit, fitted slightly lower profile tyres to my focus, for them to tell me my ABS wouldn't work any more as the sensor wouldn't pick the wheel up....explain that)

They should fit but they'll look very small IMO.

You make a good point, they do make the rangie look like a tractor though so might just about look normal on the series, I'll hold a wheel up to it and see how it goes
