Going to swap the t/b soon and need some tips, search came up with not a lot about changing the box I'm afraid.
Got a bit of info but need as much as poss.
Drain the oil out - but that is just the t/b I presume, then undo the bolts (after removing props) how many bolts hold the t/b to the gearbox?
Using engine hoist through the floor I think and a trolly jack.
Be a slow job for me as I can't do a lot at a time (disabled) but hope to get it out one day and put one back the next total working time over two days of about five or six hours. What do you think ? I know I can do it , well I could have a few years ago and I'm going to give it my best shot :D

Ive just done mine mate. Its pretty much impossible to do without taking both the gearbox and tranny off together as the bolts are too difficult to get at and it'd be a knightmare trying to line the two back up afterwards. If you've got plenty of time, which thankfully i did, take the whole seat box assembly and floors out, this makes it so much easier and is much better than rolling around on the floor quite so much. If you'd like a step by step id be more than happy to write you one tomorrow evening when ive more time!!!
cheers
tom

Ah was told if ah was goin' to do mine then take the gearbox out as well. Separate the boxes, do what ah was gonna do, then when it came to puttin' them back together tip the gearbox on end and usin' the engine hoist, lower the T/b onto it carefully.

Or ye could try summit like this for linin' it up...
