should i swap my T reg 300tdi disco for a v8 lpg R reg disco both in very good nick,the v8 is an es auto,have always liked the sound and power of the v8 but what would be pros and cons have done some reading on the forum would would really like some direct advice love my 300 to bits but very tempted with v8
 
Who would ever swap their petrol V8 Es spec for a 'no spec' four cylinder diesel :D

As the only difference is the engine there is nothing to add to the pros and cons what you have already read on the forum.

Why should people bother, there's pros and cons for both .. your choice .. you know what you want from the vehicle, only you can say what's best for you ... get both .. ;)
 
Only real downside's are higher fuel cost's and a slightly fiddlier engine to work on, personally if I could afford the fuel cost's (non LPG engine) I'd have a V8 straight away.

Personally if I thought I could afford it I'd have a V8 .. but I'd still want a 300 for off-roading ... I just love the Tdi tractability ... ;)
