Really annoys me!!!! Ordered a set of different mounts with next day delivery.....arranged for them to be delivered to a neighbour........ Got a text from the courier confirming delivery date and time........ Booked the day off work today to get the job done....... Guess what....... The parts didn't arrive.

Chased up with the supplier and the courier. The tracking number shows that the parcel is at my local depot but having spoken to the courier it seems the parcel hasn't even been collected from the supplier yet... I ask why it shows it at my local depot and they said that's because we have printed the labels off!!!

I asked why I had received the text......... Oh we shouldn't have sent you that was the reply

Great........ A day off work wasted!!!!!

Sorry for the rant but it really annoys me

Just received another text from the courier...... Parts will be delivered on Monday!! So much for next day delivery, which was one of the reasons I ordered the parts from where I did!!!!

Happens to us quite often unfortunately, its even worse when you need something for a job! Generally its the courier at fault

Next day delivery often means next day after dispatch!! Sometimes the item isn't dispatched until the day after it's ordered. Been caught out a couple of times with that

I have used Island 4x4 for a few years and find their courier service to be faultless. We live in N. Wales and I have always got my stuff delivered the next working day without fail if I order before 14.00 and they have the item(s) in stock. Their couriers tracking service is very accurate and up to date. Free next working day delivery as well for orders over £50 !!

(I have no connection with Island 4x4 other than being a satisfied customer)

I've used this supplier many times and have never had an issue before.. Not sure what's gone wrong. Oh well...... Another week to put up with the clunking from the diff mounts!!!

we get this in work, usually Fridays, driver wants an early finish, we get the stuff on monday

Just an up date........ The plot thickens

The courier still says they haven't collected the item from the supplier.

The supplier has re booked delivery and I have a text from the courier saying it will be delivered on Monday.

The post man has just been and given me a parcel which is in the couriers wrapping and it's my diff mounts.

So the royal mail have delivered one of the couriers next day delivery marked up parcels which the courier still says they haven't collected from the supplier. Let's see what the courier delivers on Monday!!!!
