I run a tigershark on my disco, why are you thinking of the 11500? i run the 9500 and its never let me down, i also carry a pulley block for when im pulling other folk out of the really sticky stuff. It has always been strong enough on single line to get me out of anything, and i mean anything, like mud upto the bonnet edge, really sticky stuff.

I chose the 9500 over the bigger one because of the line weights and the overall weight of the kit and as i said its always been man enough, not the quickest winch in the world but strong and good construction for the price and its been very waterproof so far.

Just what I got told might not be true,

my 1st winch was a good winch 9500 worked well never struggled, my old inch which is going on the rear is a warn xd9000 that also pulled well and never struggle even dragging a 110 out, I now have. Warn 8274 that was 8000 but has a superwinch ep9 motor so will now 9000 so the free spool has been pinned,

Disco and 90 I would say 9000 or 9500 is plenty is its a 110 then go up one

Pulley blocks are usually no good for vehicle winches. You'll be meaning 'snatch block';):D
