V8 Vouge

New Member
Has anyone done it yet. I have the basic knowledge to supercharger a vechicle and the range rover has loads of space under the bonnet. The pulley's are in the correct position to run a central fugal chager with the correct bracket. It's a big project. But now my range rover is just my toy, why not. Any surggestions?

I say go for it. In a years time or more I'm planning on doing a v8 twin-turbo conversion, I'll be really interested to see how this turns out if you do it!

Oh yer turbo's are the one, But I no that there can be cooling issues. I have known of turbo conversions to end up in the skip. I dont know if the v8 will take it. A super charger is so easy. I just want to know if its been done before.
I'm gonna google it now and try to find out.

if you look around some kit car sites i'm sure you will find your answers as a few of them use the v8 rover engine!!!

how about putting in a turbocharged v8? i know some were fitted with janspeed ones striaght out of the factory?

Oh and i know of a guy selling one if you're interested

What would worry me about turbocharging the RV8 is the huge increase in heat. Granted, you would get an increase with a supercharger, but not as much as a turbocharger I think?

Oh yer I agree. I know people have had cooling problems before turbo chargeing engines.
