OK guys, plainly I am being dumb. I have used the key to open the sunroof and to tilt it which I am assuming is "manual' mode but I have not gone to the fully open position, just fully closed. This proves the thing operates. How then do I re-engage the motor?
Thanks
Simon

1/4 turn back from travel direction if my memory serves me right, (Keith?) I believe it is mentioned in the handbook or deffo in Rave.

Unfortunately mine came with it so I have had to endure the PIA repairs over the years. I just leave it shut apart from a couple of times a year for cleaning and lube and accidental button presses :)

Some of you guys are unlucky with the RR sun roof, I use mine alot. (On the other hand I've sealed up my Defender one).
As mentioned above, after manual operation you need to turn the spindle back one quarter of a turn.

I've also used my sunroof a lot. Just means tucking back in the pesky, droopy headlining...just a minor inconvenience really.

OK dumbo here. 1/4 turn and reading the manual did it. All fine and dandy now and thanks for all the input and digs. Now for some fresh air.
Thanks
Simon
Great to see it was straight forward, sometimes the instruction manual is handy ;)
I try not to use them though, it shows a weakness in the alpha male..... :)

I was going to but found a chap near Yeovil who did it for a great price and while I waited! Had a coffee in the sunshine and a chat, brilliant job done too! Blackbrook Auto Trim.
Good to get a recommendation from a P38 customer! How much did it cost please? Mike.

Hi mike,
I believe it was £190 without sunroof and £230 with, I paid the latter. Took Jason about 1.5 hours and bloody brill job done. Google blackbrook
