Hello all,
Firstly thanks for a great usefull site and the help and advice I have found here.
I recently bought a 52 reg facelift disco2 and had a leaking manual sunroof from day 1 which I resolved with the great help I got thro this site. Unfortunately in my reassembly I let a roof blind spring back and the plastic hook broke off so I need a new blind. Anyone tell me where I can get a new blind. LR dealer cant help??!! I cant find one on ebay so any direction appreciated and thanks.

They're not the sort of thing that needs changed often I guess. I would perhaps think about breakers.

Look on ebay under discovery breaking - find a similar model to yours and ask the seller if they have one. I've found that easier than looking for specific parts

If you want to buy one new, they're part number - EGT100220

BUT... they're almost £300

Britcar (UK) Ltd > EGT100220 SUNBLIND ASSY FOR SUNROOF DISCO WA>(G)

The breakers or eBay sounds like a better bet.

I have a brand new one in a box and my D2's gone now

Why do you need them my 2004 td5 doesn't have them

Because they keep the cab cooler in the summer. Offer shade when the sun is over head. I like mine....

You probably have the optikool glass thus why don't need the blinds.
