Having spent most of the day driving into the low sun other than sunglasses is it possible to fit sun visor and where can you get them from or is it too much like whos to have them, my friend said me windscreen is to clean!:hysterically_laughi

You can still buy the external visor from paddocks etc..... Defender, internal ones will fit.... Though you'll probably need to frill the screen frame to fit them.

So clean it then!, a dirty windscreen is a danger.

Do you not have the sun visors fitted inside the vehicle above the windscreen? Both of my series 3 land rovers have had them.

Not sure if Sams Trim in Brum are still going. I seem to recall seeing them listed on their site as an after market item for series.

He said it is too clean already! :p

I have the internal visors which seem ok. I like the look of the external ones but didn't fancy drilling the screen frame split bar in the middle. I've also heard it can be difficult to see the traffic lights change with the external visor if you're towards the front of the queue.

just get some decent shades

I find low winter sun has a remarkable ability to shine through just the point a visor won't cover

Try having an extended full length rack .....
