Went to do an oil change this afternoon, found that my sump drain plug was chewed and rounded off (it's even worse now!)

Is there anyone on here who would be interested in doing the necessary (maybe welding another nut to it and removing it that way?) for a reasonable price please?

I'm in South Wirral, CH66 Postcode.

Am open to any suggestions to remove it myself but it is erm ........ "quite tight!"

Many thanks.

Vehicle is a TD5 Discovery.

Get a stilson on it the more pressure you apply the tighter it will grip.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick reply, but, have been trying with large Mole Grips and the plug seems quite soft, it just rounds even more!

Tried a chisel too to try and turn it but no luck there either, was thinking maybe heat on it might help loosen the grip?

If it's rounded try hammering a socket onto it that's a size to small. That or a stilson as redhand said. Have a new one ready.
