Do we have any speakers gurus amongst us. As the previous posts state, I changed my subwoofer and now no sound. That aside does anyone know if dust and dirt on the diaphragms would make the speaker sound as if it was blown? I ask because I have just taken the grills off the 'guilty' speaker that was responsible for the change andddddddddd no issues with the diaphragms. So, I dusted and lightly hoovered both diaphragms , then put it back together, to go the magicians at Gibsons.
Just curious to know if anyone has experience with 23yrs of dust causing distortion that sounds like a blown speaker. It seems logical but....................
