My 1994 TDi 300 is a Discovery 2, right? I am a tad confused, as I see that the TD5 is detailed as the Discovery 2, too!

no, yours is a 1994 300tdi discovery 1, are you sure its a 300tdi and not a 200tdi, the simple way to tell is if you have lights in the back bumper its a 300tdi, if your hazard light switch is on the top of your dteering column its a 200tdi hope this helps

Yep, just checked, lights in the bumper, hazard light NOT on top of the steering column!

I think you will find Series 2 Discovery's started with the td5 in 1998. BB
