Anyone know what page the wing mirrors are on on rave, cant find it, someone just now broke it (driving past my car,) and it was up on the kerb too, didn't catch them, ant you know it....they didn't stop

I'm in need of the bracket and a heated mirror so far i think, but i don't know how to take the bracket off!!
 
Ok found it thanks, (Glass Front Door page 76) but no breakdown as to how to take that frame out though
 
Hi dopey, have just had a similar problem with mine. Unfortunately, you cant buy the cover as a seperate item, or at least i couldn't find one, and its not listed in Microcat as an individual item.

Also when you get the old one off, make a note of the number of pins in the electrical connector, as again there are several different versions, 6,10 and 13 pin i believe.
 
Forgot to say the only individual replacement parts in Microcat I could see are the glass and the mirror clip.

Anything else requires a complete mirror, typically selling at around £50 plus postage on egay.
 
Its the glass and the black clip that holds it in that's broken, the clip looks like so... Discovery 1 & 2, P38 mirror glass clip adaptor on eBay (end time 05-Mar-10 21:48:37 GMT) I just bought this one, and found a heated glass from a dealer (not ebay) for the amazing price of only £5 (heated new too)

Yes Dopey..just presses in. You will feel the glass clip click into the motor assembly. If you have not fitted the clip properly the glass will feel "Floppy". Just have a look at the motor and clip before fitting it and you will have a good idea of what goes where.
