Find one thats 25 years old and import it from the UK or Canada. Save yourself some money on buying one over here.
Classic car then and is exempt.

25+ yrs old means it's a classic, is importable and exempt from regulations.

I looked at sticking a Defender body on a 100" frame(after watching "A 4x4 is Born"), but I want something a little bigger. I'd like 4 doors with a small pickup bed.
