Hi everyone!

Discovery 300tdi ES 94 156,000mi

I seem to remember reading something similar to this on a previous post, but when i searched for it i couldn't find it.

When driving around a bend there is a strange clattering noise coming from below. As if cogs are jumping on the diff??. It happend to day as i went around a left hand bend up hill at about 45 mph. Any thoughts on what it may be?

help appreciated

Well tonight on my travels it seemed to be brake related. I have recently had my pads repplaced as the axle seal went and contaminated all the brakes, so for mot had it all done. its makes the noise coming to a stop pulling away, but not all the time.!!??

Discos are known for wearing calipers, causing clattering in the brake pads when braking. Dunno about the noise when pulling away though.
