Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place, but I spotted a very odd looking disco 1 on the sainsbury roundabout in the centre of inbredswich (the home of the high six) suffolk on thursday evening about 5 o clock it had at least a 12 inch body lift with a ladder section between the body and mounts,chequer plate rear door, chequer front corners , but standard
wheels and tyres it looked like a roller skate how it did not fall over on
the roundabout I dont now. Has any body else seen it or was I dreaming ?.
 
No I saw a disco with a 12 inch body lift there was a ladder section under
the cills ,the arches had been cut but standard wheels and tryes ,chequer plate rear door and front corners .I have a witness.
 
Hi Big Stu I wish I had taken a photo with my phone, but I could not believe what I was seeing it pulled out onto the round about in front of US
not just me, there was a box section ladder frame between the body mounts and body at least 12 ins high. How the hell did they modify the steering links , gearlevers ect. The whole of the rear door was covered in cheqeur plate the front corners were chequer plate and I think it had round headlights. I know what a load of crap , but I bet somebody on here knows it .
 
If it's real then it sounds like a US mini monster truck kit

Hi Martin no idea why, I think it would have to be scaffolded to check the oil and water with H&S as it is today.
 
Was it the same set up as that Chevy is running ?

I've seen the same kit on Jeep Wranglers and Cherokee's so it should fit a Disco too with some light mods
 
Dr evil you are not going to believe this but I promise you it is true it had standard wheels and tyres ,the arches had been cut about as high as you can go so it must have been a 3 door I could see throu the ladder frame and the guy driving looked like a tennis umpire sitting up there. To be honest It looked ****.
 
hahahaha take a pic next time, sounds like someone got serious little man syndrome and tried to jack his Disco up on the cheap taking parts from a scrappy and bodging them together
 
I have seen it again its on ebay ,Discovery monster truck. I am not as daft as I think I am,check if you dont believe me.
 
was it that one on egay that was made/used for "bogging" someone done a thread on it entitled "now ive seen everything" or something like that, only about a week or so ago?

I think its more like Bonging, it certainly looks like he smoked a few when he dreamt up that "little beast", also no one could ever see ya shaggin right up there, maybe its just for the voyeurs to look down at the shaggers.

But then again I may be missing the point - i usually do - perhaps its amazing at what it has been designed for, and remember: sometimes form follows function. Lets be honest the disco is hardly the coolest looking vehicle on the road - but my god is it a practical box.
