i am looking to get rid of as much back pressure as possible, so decat front pipe then probably remove the silencer and then exit from the side, anyone done this before, i did it on my pajero made a lovely sound and the turbo spooled so fast big big improvement.

Bare in mind you need "some" back pressure to help prevent the turbo "over speeding".

I have a straight thru centre pipe on mine, and Im "told" it does sound nice......but I still have the small back box on as well tho

I have decat pipe on front no center silencer, And no rear silencer with the exhaust exiting through the rear quarter. Dan td5 disco

Does this give any performance improvements or just a boy racer sound and the need to turn the stereo up.

sounds like a v10 truck lol. it rearly does sound awesome. over 3k rpm their seems to be a difference. Dan
