Another day, another "problem". Since the past few days my Brake pedal is "Sticky". The car brake just fine but the pedal "touch" feel that it is grabbing something at one point. Drive the car for half an hour and the brake pedal is just fine, no problems and this all along the day even after resting for a few hours. The problems seems to be only the morning after a cold night (1, 0 or -3 Max).

For information, this car is running on a new ABS Pump, Accumulator and Booster Pump (cost me a lot to import this one) and new brake fluid all mounted this summer. Front Brake pad and caliper have been done and I have been advise to do the same for rear (not yet done).

I search the forum and found this thread, do you think it is also due to freezing part and water? http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/no-brakes-cold-mornings-163708.html. Unlike this gentleman I have brake but they are however just sticky or grabby when cold (pedal touch) and get perfectly fine after a short while.

Once again thanks for your advises.

I'm disinclined to say you might want to put some copper slip on the rear pads because this may be taken tooo literally.........

However, just in case and to avoid any misunderstanding.

It maybe worth getting the rear pads and calipers changed or at least have look to see if/why the pads or calipers are sticking. ;)

I think it's unlikely to be water freezing in your brake fluid if it was only renewed in the summer.

No idea how to cure your problem, I just wanted to say that I visited Tokyo back in November 2012 and I wanted to congratulate you and the people of Japan on such a fascinating and beautiful country. I have never before meet such nice friendly and helpful people ever before in my life.

regards,

Dave

Make sense, I will check this ASAP. THANKS!

Hi Dave thanks! But I am not Japanese . I am French and I have been living there for the past ten years, so if you noticed any deterioration on Japanese behavior or the street becoming dirtier these are maybe because of my bad influence being a Gaijin (Foreigner)
