Do not adjust the steering wheel until you have checked the drop arm is central and yu have equal movement in either direction otherwise yu will compound any errors.

Yup,only ever made it worse by trying.Even when I had the tracking done it was still out.The clamp on the steering column is weighted in such a way that it falls to one side and turns the wheel as you try to attach it to the next section.Anyway up,its a bugger.

hi, its pretty easy to centralise the steerig wheel. assuming you have had the tracking set correctly. do the following. drive the vehicle in a straight line for about 50 meters. if the steering wheel is off centre to the left then the drag link needs to be lengthend, and likewise if the steering is of to the right then the drag link needs to be shortend, rotate the draglink half a turn at a time and recheck untill the steering wheel is central.

U can do the following too(first of all listen to Hat Man) : Make sure that the wheels are straight ahead then >> remove the airbag module, loosen the steering wheel retaining bolt, pull the wheel untill it turns free, rotate it to be centred then refit everything.......follow the procedures as in the workshop manual( dont disturb the setting of rotary coupler)

Drag link is dead easy and quicker to do if you have airbags. Only thing you may need is a good dose of penetrating oil on the threads or maybe heat them gently first.
If your steering is badly out, it maybe your drag link is bent.
