Hi, got a rdx steering wheel to fit my defender 90 91 plate and wondered if any one has or able to assist for a nice reward removing and replacing my steering wheel in the surrey area?

I can not get it to a garage as lights all off and as steering is important don't want to bodge it myself lol

Thanks

Justin

Just in case you're not aware, there are two sizes of spline, 36 & 48 which are obviously not interchangeable. Dont know much about the RDX wheel, dos it come with a seperate boss?

its not hard.

prise out centre badge, loosen off nut so its at the top of the thread, yoink...

making sure the new one goes on straight is the hardest bit.

Make sure you leave the nut screwed on a few turns or you'll break your nose when the wheel comes loose. You can buy or make a puller to release the wheel from the splines but I just give it a tap with a rubber hammer and use copper grease when I put the wheel back so it comes off nice and easy next time.

Hence my "to the top of the thread" :) seen a mate do it, funny as hell, for me :)
