It's finally stopped raining, so I'll give it a go today- still a bloody cold blowing though:mad:
 
Kinnell gofish it's bank holiday monday an your up before seven! Did yer **** the bed or summink.
 
Any how int there any threaded holes in the wheel you can use to bolt a puller to with a bolt in the middle you can wind down on the middly bit.
 
Try a 2 legged puller. use A big jubilee clip on the legs to stop them from popping off the back of the wheel.
 
My Steering wheel had to come off
because during a Service and a Wheel
alignment it was off centre when driving
and thats freaks me out,,,,

I was there when the Fitter Mec took
it off and it was easy when he did it
loosen the centre nut a few turns
then quickley with your fists hit the
top of the Steering wheel hard and then the
bottom in quick sucession and that should
do the job loose steering wheel off it comes
 
Yippeeeeeeeeeeee... it's off.

Wasn't too bad. Just needed a wee tap from behind, and a bit of a jiggle.

the old
days of

you could
only get
so much

Slob,

Could his off-line steering wheel not easier have been sorted by moving a UJ under the bonnet?

Will his indicator self-cancelling (Landy HA HA HA!) still work OK?

he could have disconnected the uj at the bottom of the column and turned it till it was straight but its easier tio remove the steering wheel if you have the right tool. i have a steering wheel puller for a defender which i made myself. it takes about 5 minutes to get the wheel off
 
Elevfrigginven friggin quid for some bolts and a bit of bar with three holes in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
