Hello other Land Rover enthusiasts, I want to remove my steering wheel, but where you but the puller bolts into the wheel some one has snapped a bolt in the hole:doh:, what would be the best way to remove this bolt and keep the thread?

Thank you

You can buy a sheared bolt removal kit on ebay for under a fiver.... but hang about for further advice as I have never used one

I just undo the nut but leave it on a few threads and pull like mad, top to bottom side to side, not been beated by one yet

Undo the centre bolt but leave it on a couple of turns then shake the living hell out of the steering wheel and it'll come off.

Must leave the nut on otherwise you'll get a steering wheel in the face which is bound to make you wince (nit to mention giving you two black eyes and a broken nose)!!

easy outs will get that snapped bolt if you need to get it out. drill a pilot hole the right size then screw the easyout in, anticlockwise. easy! out..
