job done, just changed lower linkage on my disco. Took an hr anyone wanting too try its a quick spanner job. 10MM socket for both top and bottom bolts and a size 5 hex drive allan key for adjuster bolt. Remove adjuster bolt and lower bolt gently tap upwards to remove the linkage off the lower splines. Undo and remove top bolt and pull away removing complete steering rack. I fitted a bear mac replacement linkage and too fit reverse order just make sure that wheels are straight and steering wheel to match hope this is of help too any one:crazy_driver:

Erm. My D2 has a steering box, not a rack.
