Just wondering how much play there should be in the steering box, mines has a bit and tends to make the car wonder on the road.
Could this just be the steering damper needing changed?

there should be very little play, check all steering joints before adjusting the box, to adjust the steering box..........undo the lock nut, turn the screw in till it stops then out till it stops then do up the lock nut.

check tracking, excessive toe-out will make it wander
