My 90 is G Reg 1990 200tdi.
Can anyone tell me what spline my steering wheel would be?,
Just been out in the dark to try and count them but cant get the dam wheel off to see the splines.
I'm almost certain its 36, but cant be sure. want to order boss.

I would be tempted to count first, as yours is 1990 that is 20+ years where pervious owners could have been fiddling around swapping bits ! Besides you would have to get it off to fit the boss so may as well do the cursing now and it will be a doddle when you do it for real.

My 92 reg 200tdi 90 is 36 spline, so yours should be too.
The Exmoor Trim website says

36 Spline Boss will fit: Fits all County Specification and all XS specification vehicles from 1998 to 2007. Will also fit all earlier Defenders from launch date to up to 1993 regardless of interior spec However this boss will not fit Defenders from 1993- 1998 or base spec vehicles from 1998-2008. and will NOT fit any Defenders from 2008 onwards. (for all other years/models please see 48 Spline Boss)
