timtheenchanteruk Well-Known Member Jan 17, 2014 #2 tighter? less heavy I undertstand, if the belt was squeeking it was probably slipping and not driving the PAS properly.

L lynall Well-Known Member Full Member Jan 17, 2014 #3 Loosen the belt and check for lift in the pas pump pulley, Ive had two collapse on me in 3 years, its a **** design as theres a sealed bearing behind the pulley and if you do some serious mud plugging sooner or later thats it! 200tdi by the way.
