Hi,

Can anyone tell me whats involved in converting a 300TDi 90 CSW to a hard top regarding the rear side windows. Can the side panel be changed or is it not as simple?

Thanks,

Cookie

Most expedition companies have blanked side panels ready to be installed, but they are quite espensive. It was either OEC or Brownchurch which quoted me around £200 for a pair.

yea - if yer wanna collect it from friggin scotland!
i bin lookin on flea bay fer months!

Good stuff.

Are they hard to fit? Rivets, bolts, welded? I haven't got one but I'm looking for a mint county 300 Tdi hard top. Hard to find good ones so far. There seem to be better station wagons. So I'm thinking of buying one of those and doing away with the side windows.

cookie, i have a very good hard top without side windows, smooth roof type and no damage fitted to my 90, if you find that you want to swap for a csw roof give me a shout. will deliver or meet half way depending on your location.

i wanna watch you two swapping hard tops over in the middle of hilton park services!

it wouldnt be the worst thing ive crossloaded at the services. bought a series 1 in bits, too many bits to fit in my trailer. kids not happy about a wing each?
