Hi anyone know how to get rid of SRS light on dash. tried yellow connectors under seats to seatbelts. do i need to leave them disconnected for a certain ammount of time? many thanks Steve

srs system is not just the seatbelt pre-tensioners its the airbags as well. if the old seat connection trick hasn't worked you need to get it hooked up to a computer to find the fault

If you've had no joy with the connectors, youre gonna need a fault code reader on it..

Could give disconnecting the battery for half an hour a go, but you'll probably need to do the above on it..

I think that you might find that because it is a safety system then even when the fault is recticied (ie clicking back the plugs under the seat) then it will still light up until it is cleared by a fault code reader. I seem to remember something posted about this some time ago.

It kind of makes sense really but damned annoying!

if its the seat connectors it resets itself at the next ignition on self test....

Are you absolutely sure about that? Mine is on so that would mean I have something else wrong - drat!
