I cured mine with a new bearing off evil-bay for the tensioner but it would still do it every now and again when it was realy damp!

Also, just to be on the safe side (and also because I learnt this yesterday and want to seem like I know what I;'m talking about)
Take the tension of the auxiliary belt and take the belt from around the alternator. Now spin the alternator wheel, should be smooth and silent, if not then you got a problem.

Mine was making some HORRIBLE noises.
All fixed now though and pick it up tomorrow.. So life is good again
