Hi Guys, I need to lift my Disco 1, to clear the new tyres I have fitted, are spring spacers a really bad idea, should I just do it right with a lift kit?
Advice from those who know is appreciated.

P.S, Dont really fancy a body lift.

May aswell just replace the springs and shocks if theyre old, maintain and modify at the same time. Could fit spring spacers then the shocks give up a thousand miles down the road

However, If you find yourself away from home, standard parts are easier to get hold of from a dealer. Aftermarket ones are either not as widely available, or mail order, with a delay, depending on the country you're in....

never had any probs with the suspension/body/spring lift on my rr bobtail over 6" in total been on for over a year no probs atall
