Decided to open this fred to tell you our dog's story.
Spot is anywhere from 5-7 years old, we do not know the exact date.
My dad, while at work noticed this dog, tied up in a barn, out in the freezing cold snow on a farm.
He walked up to him, and he was there with his tail between his legs, looking all poorly.
My dad, because he does have a caring side to him, was actually losing sleep over him. So one evening, he decided to go down in the disco and pick him up. When he got back, this is what we found:
We took him to the vet the next day, where we found out he wasn't chipped, but also we found out that he weighed a measly 9kg, his norm being of around 25-30kg.
He had a few bruises on his front and back legs, where he had been laying on a stone floor.
He had a severe ear infestation, and was also nearly blind.
He was then treated for his ear problems, fed regularly and given the love and attention he deserved.
Over the past 4 years he has shown little aggression towards us, is very playful and over the past few months has had a little companion named Lucy, a little shih tzu puppy.
It is incredible how lucky he is that my dad went around to get him when he did. I don't think he would have survived much longer. He is now a very loving and caring dog, i honestly don't know why the previous owner left this poor innocent fella for dead.
Here are a few recent pictures of him:
