After disconnecting some clowns :clap2:attempt to wire 2 bumper mounted and 4 roof mounted lights using the twist together and tape method,I need to wire them up correctly with suitable wire,a 70 amp relay and terminals etc.
My question is where do I take the switch wire(blue/white wire) from ,obviously from the switch,but before or after the fuse board to in effect make a new harness?.
I have searched the search facility,plenty of how to do it but no where to start from as far as I can see.

I did mine so the relay switched directly from the High beam wire ...

At some point i mean to also wire in a switch so I can have them on without high beam as well, don't need it yet so keeping it simple.

Depends how you want them to work.To start off with I ran the main relay feed direct from the battery using a suitable inline fuse as near the bat as possible.
The way you actually trigger the relay depends on how you want the spots to work.If you want them to only come on with high beam feed the trigger input to the relay from the high beam wire. If you want them independent of high beam find a 12v supply then wire a switch into it then to the relay input. If you use an ignition switched supply the spots will only work with the ignition on. If you use a permanent supply the will work anytime a good way to flatten your bat.

Mines done the same, how do you add in a switch so they come on independantly?

Switch needs to be an on-off-on. First on side goes between hi-beam and relay, second on side between a 12v live and relay, off is an earth/common. This gives on with high beam, off completely, on without high beam.

Just need a 2-way rocker switch, then one side is the current setup you have, middle is completely off, and on the otherside you have a permament 12 volt feed to light them up on their own.

Yes,lights need to be on high beam.
Do I take the switch feed off before or after the vehicle fuse box?.As the switch wire goes to fuse board then splits into 2 for separate fuses for each light as per haynes wiring diagram

After then you have the protection of the fuse.
