Afternoon all!
just brought a new genuine LR wide yoke propshaft and when moving it and generally seeing how smoothly a new shaft should slide, the whole splined piece came off......and I can't get it back in more than about 10mm, and then really really struggle to get it out again. Is there only one right way that it will go in or something.....please don't tell me this is a very very expensive mistake!!

there should be a marker, two opposing arrows (one on each part)
if there aint: ****. You are meant to mark them before sliding them completely out (esp on a series, as you can see balls. There's no arrow after 30 years...
Look for arrowas on near the splines and the other part.

And pray they are there

just check akigment of yokes if rear should be in same plane blike double open ended spanner if front 1 to 2 slines from this, otherwise it wont last as long as it should
